Monrow

Launched in 2007 as a basics label, Monrow has quickly risen to the top. The ever-growing brand now produces 11 collections a year, which include much more than your average basics. Though designers Michelle Wenke and Megan George, constantly inspired by the world around them, their passion will always lie in MONROW’s fundamentals—quintessential wardrobe staples with attention to fit, fabric, technique and innovative prints. This unparalleled quality and in-depth knowledge of design and manufacturing detail is what makes Monrow a front-runner in the world of contemporary apparel.

The design duo behind the brand met while getting their BFAs at Otis College of Art and Design together. They parted ways after graduation, and while Megan was busy with George, her first clothing line (carried at various high-end boutiques like Ron Herman and Scoop), Michelle started as first assistant to famed stylist Jessica Paster. She soon began styling on her own, working on everything from celebrities, to music videos, to editorials. With Megan’s knowledge of design and brand development and Michelle’s experience in styling, the pair reunited and merged their talents to create Monrow.

Though Monrow is constantly evolving, approaching each season with a fresh perspective, the essence of the brand is rooted in their dedication to designing superior clothing for everyday life. With an elevated eye for design and understanding of garment manufacturing Monrow has become a must-have. Monrow has made it clear that when it comes to design the difference is in the details.
