Spanx has always been about empowering women. Starting in 2013, the founder took a giving pledge to donate half of her wealth to the cause. A rotating philanthropy board made up of Spanx employees helps allocate funds to various organizations and causes that support women through entrepreneurship, education and the arts. The brand closely monitors the ethics of its suppliers and complies with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.
