There is a tremendous range of practices in the fashion industry. On one end, there are companies producing as cheaply as they can, employing women and children in unsafe conditions. On the other end, there are companies making a conscious effort to have a positive impact and are embracing ethical practices. This could entail committing to manufacturing in the US or using environmentally-friendly practices or giving back in some capacity.
